GRETNA, Va. (WSET) — Paying for another person’s food is an act of kindness that many participate in.
That's what happened on Friday, Sept. 18 at a Dairy Queen drive-thru in Gretna, Virginia.
A total of 256 people paid for the meal of the person behind them, according to Janie Fleck, the general manager.
She says this all started early Friday at 7 a.m., with a person paying it forward.
Fleck says the act of kindness had been going on for seven hours and counting, as of 2 p.m.
